Built in 1898, Christ Church Anglican was the first church in Cranbrook. A renovation in 1998 saw the addition of a new hall and office, and the Church holds the status of the oldest building in town that is used today for its original purpose
Christ Church is a welcoming and liberal community, with sacred space for parishioners to live out their baptismal vows as faithful disciples of Christ.
Rev. Dr. Yme Woensdregt was appointed priest at Christ Church in July of 2004. He is a passionate advocate for a progressive vision of the Christian faith and offers to serve people at any stage of their spiritual journey, including those looking to explore what a spiritual life might entail
